ABOUT THE MOVEMENT

Oz Veshalom-Netivot Shalom was founded in 1975 to present a more tolerant expression of religious Zionism. We are committed to promoting the ideals of pluralism, and justice, concepts which have always been central to Jewish tradition and law.

​

As one of the only religious Zionist peace organizations of its kind, we are in a unique position to counter fundamentalist and extremist political arguments that have erroneously placed the value of the Land of Israel ahead of human life, justice, and peace. We seek to effect a fundamental change within the national religious community and throughout Israeli society by engaging with them directly via:

• Demonstrations

• Digital media including Facebook and Whatsapp

• Weekly parshat hashavua leaflets

• Meetings and discussion groups including pre-army Mechinot and more.

Our volunteers initiate a complete range of activities supported by a limited annual budget . Come and join us.
